Polish broadcaster (TVP) has revealed names of the jury and guests who will perform during Polish national final – Krajowe Eliminacje.
Together with the release of selection’s rules, it was revealed that a half of the decision will depend on the jury panel. However, it was not clear whether it will be international or local experts.
Right now we got know that TVP has decided for the latter option. In the jury we will see:
Alicja Węgorzewska – the opera singer who has worked in both Warsaw and Vienna Opera. Between 2011-2012 Węgorzewska was a judge in a tv show – The battle of choirs.
Rober Janowski – singer, actor and tv presenter, mostly known for hosting show What’s the tune? in TVP1.
Maria Sadowska – jazz and electro music singer and film director. She has released several albums and films. Her works often highlights female perspective and equality issues. To a wider audience, Sadowska is known as a judge in The Voice of Poland.
Włode Pawlik is a jazz composer, who received Grammy Award in 2014 in Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album category with his album Night in Calisia, recorded with Randy Brecker and the Kalisz Philharmonic Orchestra.
Krzesimir Dębski is a composer of film and modern music. He worked with many popular Polish singers like Edyta Górniak (ESC 1994), Kayah or Beata Kozidrak. In 1997, he was the conductor during the performance of Polish entry (Ale Jestem) in Eurovision Song Contest.

In addition, we got to know names of guests of Krajowe Eliminacje. The main star will be Doda who was heavily rumoured to represent Poland in 2015. Nowadays she has returned to her original band – Virgin. We will also see Oliwia Wieczorek – the Polish representative from Junior Eurovision 2016.
Krajowe Eliminacje will take place 18 February at 20:30 CET in TVP1. The selection will by hosted by Artur Orzech.
